Australian Football Players (AFP) is pleased to announce the signing of a Consulting Agreement with sports management company Hartwell Intergrated Business International (HiBi). This agreement will expose players represented by the HiBi company to Australian and asian clubs and expose AFP players to clubs in Europe and the MLS (USA). This new partnership places AFP in a position to continue building lasting business relationships and exchange important information with HiBi. |

FOX8's Football Superstar is Australia's newest series, hosted by Brian McFadden and ex-Matilda's player Amy Taylor. The show screens Thursdays on FOX8 @ 7.30pm Final 12 Football SuperStars Remain.Australian Football Players was at the Sydney trials and also at the Launch of the show held at the SFS (Sydney Football Stadium). We had the opportunity to meet Sydney contenders Rhys Giovenali and Rocci Gabey at the trials, and catch up with them at the launch party. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Steve Corica and the man himself, John Kosmina. Unfortunately due to the demanding schedule the boys had to leave the function early. Red Card to Cancer Gala Ball is on again! The annual fund raising event is where football referees get together to give cancer the red card and allows the business and sporting community to also assist with the fight against cancer. Funds raised on the night will be used for the very popular Italian Exchange Program, a vital element of football referee devolvement and for the much needed cancer research in this country, this year the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia is the beneficiary.

Mark Milligan, Australian U-23 football player travels to England for trials and returns unsigned we begin to look into the reasons why. Milligan has been quoted as saying, "it was not really that feasible at the moment with passport and things like that". The Australian press is also reporting his only hope is to try with clubs in other parts of Europe. |
